Poland BRE Bank Q4 net profit beats forecasts

WARSAW: Poland's BRE Banka unit of Germany's Commerz bank reported a five-fold rise in fourth-quarter earnings, beating forecasts on the back of an improving quality of its loans and rising revenue.

BRE said its net profit rose to 195 million zlotys ($68.5 million) in the last three months of the year compared to 172 million zlotys average forecast in a Reuters poll of banks and brokerages.
