Pakistani model Ayyan who is currently in a judicial remand, following the court hearing Ayyan’s father shot and wounded early this morning.
According to local media reports, Ayyan arrived at the court earlier this morning for the hearing where the decision to extend her judicial remand by another 14 days after her initial 14-day remand came to an end. Her father had come to see his model daughter when he was attacked by an unidentified person and shot in the arm. Following the attack, he was taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi where he is receiving treatment.
Reportedly, Ayyan’s father Raja Hafeez has given the statement against Rehman Malik’s brother Khalid Malik in a FIR for the shooting case.
Previously it has been reported that she acquired the sum by selling a property to former interior minister Rehman Malik’s brother Khalid Malik. Ayyan was booked to travel on a flight to Dubai when Customs officials recovered about US $500,000 from her luggage.
