PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan has said that quality of education should never be compromised and such model of education should be set up which will be in the best interest of our nation.
He expressed these views in a meeting at Governor House on Friday. He further said that status of HEC should be strengthened and strong coordination should be maintained between HEC and all of the universities in order to expedite the pace of progress in terms of education.
The Governor said; that universities are the source of wisdom and their vital role in the nation building process demands to be more conscious towards the future needs. Chairman HEC, Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, and Director HEC, Peshawar, Zaheer Ahmad Awan was also present on the occasion.
The Governor and participants of the meeting discussed various prevailing problems in way of ensuring quality of education.
