WARSAW: Shares in the European Union's (EU) biggest coking coal producer, Polish JSW, surged on Wednesday after its Czech rival New World Resources said it fixed higher coal prices for 2015.
At 0922 GMT shares in JSW gained almost 12 percent against a flat market.
Earlier on Wednesday NWR said it fixed the average price for 2015 coking coal at 93 euros per tonne.
