ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) MNA, Jamila Gilani has welcomed government decision of dissolving federal cabinet.
Talking to a private news channel, she termed the decision of dissolving federal cabinet as welcoming in the wake of economic situation of the country and said some ministries have been shifted to provinces under 18th amendment of the constitution and there was need of right sizing of the federal cabinet.
She maintained government has taken a principled step and public will also welcome it because provinces have been made more autonomous and responsibilities of handling some ministries have been shifted to them.
She added the decision also gives a message to public that the government is serious in understanding the public issues.
To a question, Jamila Gilani says all the parties of ruling coalition, including her party are ready to cooperate with government for reducing the size of the cabinet.
