State Bank of PakistanISLAMABAD: The Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Shahid Kardar has resigned.

Governor SBP has resigned, a finance ministry official said on Wednesday, the second governor to leave in just over a year.

"I can confirm that he has submitted his resignation," the Finance Ministry official said while speaking on condition of anonymity as he is not authorised to speak to the media.
