Bollywood movie ‘Khoobsurat’ has made record business in UK. Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer has done business of 375,000 pounds in two weeks and become the biggest grosser of 2014 in United Kingdom.
‘Khoobsurat’ takes fifth position among the top grossing Bollywood movies of 2014 in UK.
Film ‘Khoobsurat’ has been laid behind ‘Kick’, ‘2 state’, ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Gunday’. Gunday is the fourth highest grossing film of the year in UK and has managed to gather 424,000 pounds. It has been expected that on third week of ‘Khoobsurat’ it can surpass Ranveer Singh’s ‘Gunday’ record. The film has done huge business in Pakistan as well, media reported.
Film ‘Khoobsurat’, a remake of the 1980 Rekha-starrer ‘Khubsoorat’, was the story of a mis-fit who gets romantically involved with a prince. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie also featured Ratna Pathak Shah and Kirron Kher along with Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan in the lead roles.
