HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks could edge nigher on Wednesday, tracking gains on Wall Street amid increasing confidence that the Greek parliament will enact harsh austerity measures to save the euro zone member from debt default.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was set to open up 0.76 percent at 22,229.84 points, while the China Enterprises Index was set to start up 0.68 percent at 12,572.06 points.
