ISLAMABAD: Balochistan government has allocated rupees over three billion for energy sector in its annual budget for financial year 2014-15.
According to Radio Pakistan quoting an official source the Balochistan government will launch Solar Energy Project at a cost of rupees one billion under which 300 villages would be electrified through solar energy in parts of the province.
The source told that all water supply schemes across the province would also be converted to solar energy.
