ISLAMABAD: Senate of Pakistan Friday applauded Ambassador of Argentina to Pakistan, Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia on receiving Hilal-e-Pakistan, the country's second highest civilian award, due to his marvelous services.
In his welcome note, Leader of the House in Senate, Raja Zafar ul Haq said that he appreciated the unwavering efforts made by the ambassador to promote bilateral and economic relations between two countries.
He highlighted that Argentina was the first country which supported the cause of people of Kashmir and raised the issue on the globe.
Opposition Leader in the Senate, Aitazaz Ahsan, Chairman Senate Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari and Senator Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah also appreciated Argentinian envoy in the country.
