Peoples' to get maximum relief in KP budget: Labour Minister
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakthunkhwa government will provide maximum relief to people in budget for fiscal year 2011-12, which will be presented on Saturday, Provincial Minister for Labour, Sher Azam Wazir said on Friday.
The budget would be pro-poor and peoples' friendly and maximum relief would be provided to masses, he told APP. The budget has been designed keeping in view the prevailing security's environment in the militancy affected province, welfare and development and relief to common man, he told reporters.
Despite financial constrains and security situation, the Minister said, the government has decided to present people welfare budget and provided maximum relief to masses. He said Pakistan Peoples Party believed in empowerment of people and addressing problems of masses.
The government is committed to provide all basic amenities of life and bring socio-economic improvement to lives and properties of labour, farmers and marginalized communities.
