ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country again surged to 2,200 MW as the total generation on Tuesday was recorded as 9,300 MW against the demand of 11,500 MW at 0900 hours.
According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 1,400 MW, Thermal 1,470 and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 6,430 MW.
