ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary of Cabinet division Raja Javed Ikhlas on Tuesday told the National Assembly that mobile towers are not spreading diseases among the people.
Responding to calling attention notice, he said that mobile towers are not health hazard.
He said that about 120 million people of the country getting benefit from these towers adding that no grievance came from any part of the country regarding mobile towers.
He said that due to their long height the rays of towers could not effect the human body.
Earlier speaking on the calling attention notice, MNA Ibad ullah said installation of towers by mobile companies in residential areas resulting in spread of dangerous disease, causing grave concern amongst the people.
He said due to the rays of these towers the cancer disease spreading amongst the people adding that the people who lives near radius of 1000 meter from these towers could be effected three time more.
