ISLAMABAD: Defence analysts Hasan Askari Rizvi said on Tuesday that the persistant drone attacks are adversely affecting war on terror in this region. Talking to Voice of America Hasan Askari said the government is of the view that the drone strikes are killing more innocent people than terrorists adding the death toll of the civilians during such drone strikes could not be obtained because the media, unfortunately, has no access to the sites hit by drones.
Analyst added the information about the drone strikes is dug out by the intelligence officials by using their own sources and later provide it to the media insisting one should knows how many people, civilians and militants, are killed during such attacks.
