LimaLIMA: Left-wing candidate Ollanta Humala said he was confident of victory in Peru's presidential election, expecting his razor-thin lead over right-wing lawmaker Keiko Fujimori to grow as more votes are counted.

Partial official results earlier showed Humala with 50.087 percent of the votes and Fujimori with the 49.913 percent -- a difference of around 20,600 votes -- after about 75 percent of ballot boxes were counted.
