Pakistani stocks rise ahead of budget for Fiscal Year 2011-12

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani stocks ended higher on Friday ahead of the budget announcement and amid expectations of an expected removal of a capital gains tax on individual investors.

But dealers said volume remained thin as investors remained cautious ahead of the budget announcement, which was made later in the day, a private TV reported.
