QUETTA: Quetta and outskirts receives heavy rains on Thursday.
The rain started at Wednesday night and continued till Thursday. Central and northern Balochistan and the provincial capital Quetta have been receiving rains over last four days.
According to Met Office, the region might receive rains for next two days. About 20 millimetres rainfall was recorded in the metropolis during last four days.
The rain chocked the sewerage system of Quetta city that was already in very dilapidated condition. The main city arteries were presenting stream like look where rainwater accumulated.
Traffic was also thin on roads and attendance at schools was low due to heavy showers lashed the city.
