KARACHI: Fiscal deficit is likely to be 6.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in the 2010/11 fiscal year(July-June), compared with the government's target of 5.5 percent, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said in a statement on Saturday.
The SBP also revised its forecast for inflation to range between 14 and 14.5 percent for the year ending June 30, compared to its earlier projection of between 14.5 and 15.5 percent.
