SDPI to organize budget seminar on May 23

ISLAMABAD: Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) would organize a seminar on "Forthcoming Budget 2011-12: Opportunities and Challenges" in collaboration with Action aid Pakistan, here on May 23.Senior Economic Advisor, Dr Syed Nazre Hyder, will be the chief guest on the occasion, said a press release issued here on Friday.

Dr Pervez Tahir, Former Chief Economist, Planning Commission of Pakistan, Sakib Sherani, Former Principle Economic Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Dr Athar Maqsood Ahmed, Head, Economics Department, NUST, Mukhtar Ahmad Ali, Executive Director, Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), Islamabad, will also participate in the Pre-budget seminar.
