DOHA: Libyan rebels' finance and oil minister hopes to be the one representing Libya in the upcoming OPEC meeting in June, he told reporters on Tuesday.
"I hope it will be me," Ali Tarhouni said when asked who will be representing the OPEC member Libya in the meeting.
He earlier confirmed that Shokri Ghanem, chairman of Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) has defected from the regime of Muammar Gaddafi and left his post.
