PESHAWAR: The visit of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to China will further enhance the time-tested and deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries and would attract foreign investment to the country, Excise and Taxation Minister Liaquat Shabab Khan said on Tuesday.
"Pakistani premier is visiting to the brotherly country in a time when very important developments are taking place in the region",he told APP.
Pakistan and China relations are very deep like Arabian Sea, he said.
He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Gilani visit to China will attract foreign investment and will give new impetus to old relations between the two brotherly countries.
The relationship with China was cemented during Bhutto era and was strengthening with each passing day.
He said the visit of PM Gilani will be beneficial in enhancing trade and political ties beside defense cooperation between the two regional countries.
He said that China had made tremendous progress in every spare of life and Pakistan would be largely benefited from its experiences.
