SEOUL: Hana Financial Group said the company would discuss with Lone Star to extend its $4.1 billion takeover deal of Korea Exchange Bank
It came after the country's regulator delayed a review on whether Lone Star is fit to be KEB's top shareholder, putting again the country's biggest banking acquisition deal in doubt.
"Delaying a decision does not mean that the stake purchase deal is falling apart and we will seek various solutions including legal interpretation," a company spokesman said.
