President condemns Peshawar blast; condoles journalist's death

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the vehicle explosion in Peshawar on Tuesday evening, which caused the death of a senior PTV correspondent Nasrullah Afridi.

The President in a message expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Nasrullah Afridi in the explosion.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed soul and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
