TORONTO: Canadian biotechnology firm Labopharm Inc. said on Friday it was looking at various options for its assets and products, as well as exploring potential business combinations.
The company, which said last month it was viewing all strategic options, has entered into discussions with Italy's Gruppo Angelini, its U.S. partner, after a review of its effort to commercialize antidepressant Oleptro in the United States.
In March, Labopharm replaced its chief executive officer and cut its workforce.
