ISLAMABAD: The 7th death anniversary of renowned poet, playwright, and columnist Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi was observed on Wednesday.
At the beginning of his literary career, Ahmed Nadim Qasmi remained associated with Radio Pakistan for some time.
Qasmi was also editor and publisher of the literary magazine "Funoon" for almost half a century.
He received Pride of Performance award in 1968 and Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 1980 for his literary work.
Ahmad Nadim Qaseemi breathed his last on July 10, 2006 in Lahore at the age of 89.
