PTCL declares 17.5pc dividend

KARACHI: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has reported a lower profit after tax of Rs 4.971 billion during nine months ending March 31, 2011 and declared an interim cash dividend at 17.5 percent.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Wednesday, pre-tax profit also declined to 7.639 billion during the period under review as earning per share dropped to Rs 0.97 compared to Rs 1.54 last year.
