PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Communication Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil has said that provision of basic amenities to all areas would be ensured and problems confronted by Peshawarites would be addressed on priority basis as PPP's political ambition was to serve people without discrimination.
Addressing a public gathering at here on Sunday, the minister ensured that no stone will be left unturned to alleviate sufferings of masses irrespective of their party affiliation.
Khalil said that a request has been made to the Prime Minister for allocating extra developmental funds for the neglected areas of the province to bring them at par with developed ones.
The Minister termed facilities including Sue gas, electricity and clean drinking indispensable for any community and said he was visiting different areas of the city to resolve issues related with provision of these facilities.
He said the whole country was facing electricity shortage but government was making tireless efforts to overcome this issue by constructing small dams on urgent basis.
