hazrat_syed_ali_bin_usman_hLAHORE: The three-day celebrations of 967th urs of Hazrat Ali Bin Usman popularly known as Data Gunj Bakhsh will begin with traditional zeal from Sunday, January 22 with 'chaddar' laying ceremony at the shrine after Zohr prayers.

Auqaf Department has made foolproof security arrangements for providing complete safety to the visitors across the country, official sources said. 

In this regard, 80 cameras have been installed for monitoring the event". Some 300 policemen,9 walk through gates and metal detectors have been provided to the staff for security purpose.

Besides this, 65 security guard from Auqaf Department and 102 from private agency have also been deputed.

As many as 200 workers will remain busy to keep the premises clean while camp offices of different department including WAPDA, WASA, Civil Defence and first aid will be set up during the Urs days.

A number of prominent persons including 'sajada nasheens' of various shrines, Syed Muhammad Bilal Chishti from Ajmair Sharif India,Deewan Syed Tahir Nizami from Delhi India and Khawaja Fariddudin Fakhari will attend the ceremonies.Ulema and Mushaikh from the country will also participate the Urs celebrations and highlight the life and teachings of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh.

Auqaf department has allocated Rs 4.5 million for the three-day urs celebrations.
