ISLAMABAD: Justice (ret) Dr. Ghaus Muhammad said on Saturday that judiciary is an important pillar of the state like executive and legislative.
Talking to Radio Pakistan he said, present judiciary is functioning within its constitutional jurisdiction and the people have great hopes from it.
He maintained majority of the people have cases in subordinate courts, where litigation process is lengthy adding Judicial Commission always stresses on shortening the litigation process in subordinate courts, which means it is alive with the problems of a common man.
Law expert and former judge, Justice (ret) Saeed Awan said that people of the country have attached great hopes with Chief Justice while he also wants to provide cheap and immediate justice to the people.
