SIALKOT: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said fast approaching general elections would be held on scheduled time and nobody would be allowed to sabotage the election adding that PPP-government believes in democracy and democratic norms and committed to hand over the government to winners democratically.
Talking to media persons outside Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday he said that democratically elected government was completing its constitutional tenure, first time in the political history of the country.
A recent German survey had indicated the popularity graph of PPP, and in the light of survey, PPP will formulate next government in the country, he claimed adding that PPP-led government had served the masses during five years with missionary zeal and moral obligation.
