Dybala aiming to get new Juventus contract

Talks between the Argentina International Paulo Dybala have begun, as striker seek new contract with the club aiming to bag €12 million-a-year.

The Old Lady are set to resume their campaign on Friday evening against Milan in the Coppa Italia, the first game back since the deadly coronavirus pandemic hit Italy, which enforced lengthy break.

The 26-year-old was one of the three squad members, who got infected with the virus.

Dybala has been the key man for Maurizio Sarri's team, who are aiming to retain their Seria A crown with Lazio and Inter in their way.

Talking to CNN, the footballer said, "Renewal? For now there is nothing. I have a year-and-a-half left on my contract, it is not so much, and I understand that since what happened with the coronavirus it is not easy for the club, but other players have renewed. Let's wait, it depends on Juventus."

Meanwhile, Goal siting its sources confirmed that the club is confident that their star number 10 will sign a new deal.
