Golden news for Claire Danes with first baby and Golden Globe nod

KARACHI: Popular TV series “Homeland” star, Claire Danes has given birth to a baby boy while at the same time picking up a nomination at the Golden Globes.

According to sources the actress, married to British actor Hugh Dancy gave birth to a healthy boy Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy on Monday.

The acclaimed actress has been nominated for a second time at the Golden Globes for her role as a C.I.A operative, Carrie Matheson in the popular cable network show “Homeland”. In September, she also received TV’s biggest honor, a primetime Emmy award for outstanding lead actress in a Drama Series.
