PIAF demands end of load-shedding

Published Updated

LAHORE: Pakistan Industrial Association Front (PIAF) has demanded of the government for taking measures to end load shedding particularly in Punjab. Talking to a delegation of Lahore Township Industrial Area (LTIA), Front's Chairman Sohail Lashari said cheap and uninterrupted power supply was only way to achieve economic targets set for the year.

He said industrial sector was facing tough time as a large number of industrial units had closed down due to energy shortage.

He also urged the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to ensure implementation on the declaration of energy conference and play his due role to end load shedding in Punjab.
