Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday, carrying containers at QICT, a port statement said on Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained 50% at the Port on Friday where total number of seven ships namely M.V Elicia, M.V Hawk, M.V MSC Hina, M.V Tampa Bay, M.T Lahore, M.T Stolt Helluland, M.V Mercy Wisdom are currently occupying berths to load/ offload cement, steel coil, containers, chemical furnace oil wheat.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at Port Qasim where a cargo volume of 79962 tonnes comprising 60949 tonnes imports, export 19013 exports (TUES) 2438 was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Lahore sailed on Saturday morning.
