Orange Line train to be operational by December 10

Prime Minister Imran Khan decided in a meeting on Saturday that the Orange Line Train would be operational by 10th of December.

However, he made clear that there would be need to reduce deficit gap of the loans taken for the project and the subsidy offered to the public.

Sources said a detailed briefing was made to the prime minister on the project at the Chief Minister secretariat. It was decided in the meeting that the test run of the train would be conducted in the first week of December and Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar would be the chief guest.

The train would be fully operational by 10th December, they added.
