Ex-captain Younis Khan’s mother passes away
Pakistan former captain Younis Khan lost his mother today (Tuesday). The 87 years old was hospitalized in Karachi after battling prolonged illness .
Earlier, Younis Khan had appealed to the nation to pray for his mother's well-being. Younis Khan is the highest scorer in Pakistani Test cricket, and hold the record for scoring the most number of centuries in Test cricket. In 2009, the Pakistani team won the T20 World Cup under the leadership of Younis.
Political and social circles, apart from cricketing personalities, have expressed regret over the death of former cricket captain’s mother.
