Pakistan former captain Shahid Afridi is never shy in lending his voice to burning issues. The cricketing superstar has once again voiced his support for Kashmiris urging Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop the ‘inhumanity’ in Kashmir ‘for good.’

“We expect more from UN to stop violence and cruelty in conflict zone of Kashmir, majority of the Indians do not support the barbaric acts of Narendra Modi it's time he should come towards building long term peace, this inhumanity should be put to a stop for good,” stated Afridi, in a series of tweets.

The Pakistani superstar also lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan for the Kashmir cause. “Injustice and oppression can never be tolerated - we hope to come to a resolve ASAP!! PM Imran Khan appreciate your untiring efforts for peace in Kashmir,” he said.

Neighboring rivals Pakistan and India are once again at the loggerheads after the Indian government announced to scrap the Article 370 from the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK). The region has been in a state of virtual lock down ever since the decision, leading to a human crisis.

PM Imran Khan on Friday, warned the international community of the high risk of India’s attempt to create a “false flag operation” to divert attention from its massive human rights violations in IoK.
