KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly session on Thursday lasted just for single moment without holding any proceedings, as Speaker Aga Siraj Khan Durrani adjourned it until April 8.
The speaker took his chair and announced the session adjournment without even holding the prayers session of the assembly. The assembly had to raise five call attention notices, an adjournment motion, besides debating an already tabled adjournment motion.
The speaker was also expected to announce the Sindh Governor’s assent to “the Sindh Injured Persons Compulsory Medical Treatment (Amal Umer) Bill, 2019. Now the assembly will meet on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2 pm.
