FCCI welcomes quota for expatriates as trade officers      

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Acting President Mian Tanveer Ahmed welcomed 20 per cent quota for expatriates as trade officers.  In a statement issued here Friday, he said the government had rightly allocated 20% quota for expatriates as they already had roots in foreign markets.

He suggested that competent exporters could also be appointed as honorary trade consular and trade officers in untapped non-traditional international markets.

The step would help Pakistan to enhance its exports and bridge a gap between imports and exports, he said.
