PSL4: Ramiz Raja reveals ‘trump card’ of Peshawar Zalmi

Pakistan former captain turned cricket commentator Ramiz Raja believes that fast bowler Wahab Riaz will be the ‘trump card’ of Peshawar Zalmi, as the side is all set to begin their Pakistan Super League (PSL) fourth edition campaign.
“Wahab Riaz, in my view, is the trump card of Peshawar Zalmi, because his bowling strengthens the franchise as he is a match-winner. Riaz has picked some 48 wickets in the tournament so far, and can bowl at top speeds with variety and lastly he fights for the team,” said Raja, at Ramiz Speaks.
Wahab bowling alongside speedster Hasan Ali can prove a lethal bowling combination for the side, opined Raja.
The former captain also praised Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy, however, Raja expressed concern over the all rounder fitness issues. “Sammy is facing fitness issues and it remains to be seen whether he would play the entire PSL or not, maybe this is the reason why Zalmi has included Misbah ul Haq in the squad, who could be a good alternative of Sammy,” said Raja.
Peshawar Zalmi would begin their PSL campaign against Sarfraz Ahmed’s Quetta Gladiators on Friday, 15th February at Dubai.
