PARIS: European stock markets closed mixed on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index sliding 0.13 percent to 5,892.16 points.
In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 added 0.44 percent to 6,757.94 points however, and in Paris the CAC 40 also gained 0.44 percent to close at 3,390.35 points.
