Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness, on Saturday, conducted an awareness campaign 'AmnQalaab' for promoting peace and stability in the country. The campaign also focused on women empowerment, entrepreneurship, democracy and governance. The event was organized here at SOS Children Village on the annual day celebrations.
Amnqalaab organized 'Guru Talk' with Syed Bilal Qutab who is a renowned religious scholar. The talk focused on social peace building and other aspects of the issue. The session emphasized on the respect of life and dignity of each human being without discrimination or prejudice and need of social peace-building. The session was attended by more than 400 participants.
While addressing the audience, Bilal said, "This is the responsibility of each one of you present here today that whatever you have learnt, you are obliged to transfer the effect to those who have not participated in any such session related to social peace building before, to multiply the effect."
