NBP Master KP Table Tennis begins

The 9th edition of the NBP Master KP Boys and Girls Table Tennis Championship got under way under the aegis of KP Table Tennis Association here at Qayyum Sports Complex on Saturday. General Manager NBP Regional Office Peshawar Shahid Majeed was the chief guest on this occasion who formally inaugurated the Championship.
Secretary Pakistan Table Tennis Federation Kifayat Ullah Orakzai, Secretary and Sports Officer NBP Raja Basit Kamal, Pakistan team volleyball coach Khalid Waqar, KP Basketball President Muhammad Faqir Awan, Nawaz Malazai, officials, players and spectators were also present.
In the opening match international player Kainat Malik beat Nimra by 11-7, 11-8 and 11-9 while in the boys international player Fahad Khawjah beat Obaid of Kohat by 11-7, 11-5 and 11-9. In the Special player category Iltaf beat Abdullah by 11-6, 11-9 and 11-6. The Championship is carrying Boys and Girls Singles. The final will be played on December 19.
