Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has decided to sponsor the tour of bodybuilder Naveed Ahmad Butt for his participation in Mr Universe competition, being held next year in New Zealand. Sources in SBP said the board has decided to support Naveed in his future endeavours and will sponsor his tour to New Zealand for ensuring his participation in Mr Universe contest. It may be noted that the SBP has already given a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to Naveed. The SBP was striving to promote the game of bodybuilding.
