The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday served notices to alleged contemnors in a case relating to Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. A single bench heard a contempt application filed by Najamuddin Sheikh who informed that the court had allowed the body of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, to only carry on routine operational work but a penal called a special general body meeting for making amendment to the constitution of the council which was contempt of court. Therefore, he filed a contempt application in the court.
Upon that the court issued the contempt of court notices to the contemnor in the said application.
