Jammu Martyrs day was observed in Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) on Sunday. In the first week of November in 1947, hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were killed by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian army and Hindu extremists in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan. The pro-freedom leaders and organisations have also paid glowing tributes to the Jammu Martyrs.
The Chief Patron of Kashmir Concern, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, has saluted the indomitable will of the people of Occupied Kashmir on the occasion of Jammu Martyrs' Day.
