KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday January 27 carrying palm oil at LCT, Rice at FAP.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port on Sunday where a total of six ships namely M.V La Paloma, M.V Liberty Sun, M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Sigon Express, M.T Anjasmoro, M.T Fairspirit, M.T Mtm Shanghi are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, containers, palm oil, furnace oil and phos. acid was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 63493 tonnes comprising 60953 tonnes import 2540 tonnes export 994 (TUES) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Siagon Express, M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.T Mtm Shanghi, M.V La Paloma sailed on Friday afternoon.
