On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was PKR 7,807 million. The number of lots traded was 45.16 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,533. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6,414 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 1,350 million), silver (PKR 41.22 million) and cotton (PKR 1.02 million).
