ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal Monday said there was no need for the PML-N to launch the election campaign on a massive scale as it would win the general election on the basis of its last government's performance.
The PML-N government had launched many mega developmental projects, including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), during its government, he said talking to a private news channel.
Ahsan alleged that the PML-N leaders were being targeted and attempts were being made to make the election controversial. His party would, however, not boycott the election and leave the field vacant for others.
The PML-N government had checked terrorist activities, reduced energy shortfall and launched several welfare projects across the country, he claimed.
He said no body could remove love of the PML-N and its leadership from the people's hearts, who would decide on July 25 that who would rule the country.
Ahsan Iqbal alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, who had failed to deliver Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during his party's government in last five years, claimed to bring a change across the country.
