Alia hints at her marriage after Ranbir confirms their relationship
After weeks of speculations, Ranbir Kapoor made his relationship official with 25-year-old Alia Bhatt and the actress too has hinted at getting married way soon than everyone is expecting.
For the first time Alia has opened up on her marriage plans, months after staying tight-lipped about her relationship status. In an interview to Hindustan Times, she said that she might get married sooner than people expect her to.
“Right now, I am not thinking about getting married. But honestly, I am not someone who thinks about these things. I just go ahead and do them. It could be a very random thing since I consider myself a random person. So, I may make these decisions also at random. I feel the best things in life should happen when they are least expected. Maybe, people expect me to get married at 30, but I might surprise myself as well and get married before that,” she said.
“Yes, I've not set any deadline, because it doesn't really matter. I may be like, ‘Listen, I love you, so let's get married and live together but I will still work,’. So, I may get married just to live with that person. It's also because I don't want to be in a live-in relationship. I don't want to live with someone until I get married. So, it may happen for that reason,” she added.
On the other hand, in an interview Ranbir earlier said, “It's really new right now, and I don't want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is - what's the right word? - flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I'm aspiring to for myself. It's new for us, so let it cook a bit”.
Ranbir also expressed how it feels to newly in love and said, “It always comes with a lot of excitement. It's a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again - you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I'm more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back,” Indian media reported.
Love between Ranbir and Alia blossomed on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's ‘Brahmastra’, later they also arrived together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception.
